Rimutaka Gymsports Gymnastics Festival

On Thursday 29 July I took a team of excited Year 1-3 student’s for the Gymsports School Gymnastics festival. We had a great morning and it was wonderful to see how well everyone participated and performed their routines. Every child received a certificate and ribbon and six students received medals for achieving an excellence score on all three activities. Medals were awarded to Jemmary Leilua- Toilolo, Taylor Campbell, Charlee Campbell, Lily Simmons, Teagen Potts, Kyra Waetford, Ruby Flutey.

We won the new Fair Play Trophy, Springers (Years 1-3) . This went to the School that showed excellent teamwork, listening skills and behaviour.

Many thanks to all the wonderful supportive parents and Leanne McAra who came with us and helped me train the team in the weeks leading up to the competition.
