This week in Room 13 we are trying to develop our fine motor skills with paper folding. It is a bit tricky but it is making our fingers nice and strong.

Writing, Writing , Writing

At Discovery time it is so awesome to see the students exploring writing. All of these students choice to write as part of their play. Some are writing letters to friends and family and some and writing restaurant orders.

Pirates Invade

This week at Discovery we have made pirate Treasure maps. Today we make pirate hats, swords, boats and telescopes and had a pirate fight!

Numbers on Cones

Rich task

Today at Math's we looked at a photo of PE Cones and tried to work out why the top cone had a "8" on it when there were 9 cones in the pile.

We decided that the cones had got out of order. We put some real cones in order and then made some of our own cones with numbers to put into the correct order.
