Water Fun!

Today we were exploring which contains could hold the same amount of water.

We found that different shaped containers sometimes could hold the same capacity of water.

Last week of Basketball

As today was our last session of Basketball with Brendon we made him Thank you cards to show him how much we have all really enjoyed and learnt in the last five weeks. 

We all hope that he can come back again next year!!!!

Crazy Clown Calendar Art

This term everyone will get a chance to purchase a piece of their child's art made into a calendar, diary, mouse pad or cards. 

This year Room 18 have created crazy clown hair artworks.

Pictograph

Today we created our own Pictograph to show the number of vehicles we had. We learnt that a pictograph is a good way of grouping and showing information. They made it easier for us to count how many we had of each item.

Cars, Boats, Trains, Trucks and Planes

This Term for Maths we are using vehicles to explore lots of Maths concepts. Today we used cubes, boxes, tubes and circles to make our own car, truck, plane, boat or bus.
