Clothing for all Seasons

Today we finished off our clothing to dress our paper dolls for all the different seasons. I was very impressed to see how carefully you were all cutting out the material and thinking about which materials would be appropriate for each season.

What a fantastic day!!! On Monday Maeve decided we should have a Surprise party today. So, we did. We decorated the classroom with streamers, artwork and fancy table cloth. We played Pin the nose on the clown, Pin the tail on the Donkey, made Popcorn, dressed up and even got some presents!!!

Number patterns

We are looking at Number patterns and working out lots of different ways we can show the same number.

Cupacke Party

Greedy Cat likes cake so today we made some yummy cupcakes that he would love to eat. We baked them in the staffroom and iced them with chocolate icing and sprinkles. We each made two cupcakes so we could take them home to share with our families.

Special Visitor

Today we were so lucky to have a special little visitor. Emma's brand new two day old little sister Maia came to Room 18 to visit us. Maia is lucky to have such a wonderful big sister. Emma told us very proudly about her new precious little sister.

Learning maps

These are our new Learning Maps for Term 2, they help us to explain how we learn in mathematics.  They show who and what help us to best learn. We discussed our maps and have come up with a next step to improve our learning. We are all going to support each other to work on these next steps.

Gymnastics Week 2
