We are learning to make growing patterns. They either get bigger or smaller at the same rate.

This week we are working on number patterns. Looking at which has more, less or the same number.

Student Agency

It is very exciting to see student agency taking place in Room 9. Students are taking responsibility for setting up and running activities independently and asking their fiends to join in!

This week we are ordering numbers and working out where they would go on a number line.

Artwork for the Treemendous Space

Room 9 have worked hard this to the create this awesome piece of Artwork to go in our Treemendous space. It represents all of our different cultures.

The purple dots are for all the children in Room 9, the Koru's represent our Maori culture, the waves represent the beautiful environment of New Zealand, the cross is to remember all our past family members, the Kiwi for Kiwi hub and the silver ferns for the environment.

This week we are working on "keeping trying" when things at hard. If we want to learn a new skill it takes time and hard work. In Room 9 we are awesome at taking our time and learning new things even when it get's tricky.
